2008 Juni Newsletter

In diesem Newsletter stellen wir euch drei Möglicheiten vor, wie eure Abteilung etwas mit einer ausländischen Pfadigruppe, welche in diesem Sommer die Schweiz bereist, unternehmen könnte. Nutzt doch eine dieser einmahligen Chancen, Pfadis aus anderen Ländern kennenzulernen! Dazu nehmt ihr am einfachsten direkt mit den jeweiligen Personen Kontakt auf.

Eine Gruppe von portugiesischen Rovern wird Anfang August die Schweiz besuchen und sucht eine Berner Pfadigruppe, welche am Sonntag den 3. August etwas mit Ihnen unternehmen würde:

Dear Brother Scout,

We are a group of 13 Portuguese Scouts (2 leaders and 11 Rovers) from the Group 379 A dos Cunhados (CNE). A dos Cunhados is a tiny village near the coast, in the municipal of Torres Vedras, Region of Lisbon. We had never had the chance of making an international activity but this year we are preparing to turn our dreams into reality. We are going to be in Switzerland from the 31st July to the 13th of August. We are planning to stay in Kandersteg International Scout Centre from 6th to 13th August but in the week before we will be visiting some of the beautiful cities and villages of your country.

One of those places is Bern. We plan to be in Bern from the afternoon of the 3rd of August (Sunday) to the afternoon of the next day. We think that we could benefit a lot from the contact with a local group, with whom we could spend some time with, so we are contacting you. As we also have a low budget to this activity and we are still trying to cut costs, it would be perfect if besides your company, you could also provide us with a place to sleep. We are not demanding: a few square metres on the floor (and a toilet if possible) are just the enough. We promise to leave the place as clean and tidy as we found it. Of course that our aim is to sleep for free but we can
agree on a symbolic price. We would be very grateful if you could help us or give us the contact of the groups of your region.

Eine Gruppe von Pfadis aus Finnland möchte am Samstag 12.7. Pfadis in Bern treffen:

Hi!

We are making a scout trip to Germany and Switzerland in july this summer with our local scout group here in Turku, Finland.

I'm loking for a possibility to have any kind of scout-related program during our trip and that's why I'm sending you this email.

We'll be spending five days in Switzerland and we end our visit to the capital. Our purpose is to get to know the city and the local scouting. It would be great to have "a scout-guide", who could take us aroud.

Our group consists of young people, mainly 11-13 years old youths and adults of cource, all together 27 people.

We are coming to Bern at saturday 12.7.2008 around the afternoon, so we
have the evening to spent at the city. Our purpose is to spent the night
somewhere near Bern, so I would be thankfull if You could also rekommend some low cost campingarea etc. for us.

If it is possible to arrange any kind of program at all, I'm very thankfull for that.

We have our own bus so moving aroud the city will be easy for us.

Im Contura sind verschiedene ausländische Abteilungen anwesend. Weitere Informationen darüber findet ihr auf der Webseite des Contrura.

Unter anderem sind im Contura folgende Gruppen aus Rumänien (Partnerverband der PBS):

• im Village Global bieten Rumänen einen Workshop an und haben ein Zelt mit Infos
• beim Taxi Brousse (sowas wie ein Bus, der jeden Tag in einem anderen UL Aktivitäten in der Freizeit anbietet) fahren Rumänen mit und bieten rumänische Aktivitäten an
• im UL 7 hats ein halbes Dutzend rumänische Staffmitglieder
• im UL 1 ist eine Drittstufengruppe zusammen mit der 3. Stufe des KV Schaffhausen
• im UL 2 ist eine Zweitstufengruppe mit der Pfadi Notre-Dame de la Route von Delémont
• im UL 4 ist je eine Zweitstufengruppe mit den Pfadi Gallispitz von Winterthur und der Pfadi Laufen
• im UL 5 ist eine Drittstufengruppe mit der 3. Stufe des Korps Limmat
• im UL 8 ist eine Zweitstufengruppe mit der Pfadi Trois-Jetées von Nyon
